Free-Style Yoga Alliance
- Madrid City
Free-Style Yoga Alliance is the creation of years of hard work, dedication, study and personal commitment from two yogis that came together through a chance meeting at a yoga class in Madrid, Spain. Raquel and Gary opened their Yoga studio in Madrid back in 2012 after bringing together two different yoga minds and paths, and fusing this into what is now Free-Stle Yoga.
Free-Style Yoga is nothing new and is practiced by many students around the world, although many students and teachers are unaware they are practicing and teaching Free-Style Yoga but some type of free-style yoga. There is a major lack of support for Free-Style Yoga teachers around the world and this Alliance was created to unite like minded students and teachers sharing knowledge, experience and their passion for Yoga.
Free-Style Yoga Alliance is an organisation of students and teachers that promote the practice of Yoga without limitations, or barriers that want to enjoy Yoga at its roots with an open mind exploring all the possibilities Yoga has to offer. With thousands of Asanas available to practice why limit the mind and body to just a few, feel motivated and inspired to explore more and develop a deeper understand of asana practice including experimenting with Karanas, Acro and other styles.
Free-Style Yoga Alliance believe that the student has a better understanding of their own mind and body and know how to explore Yoga through their own practice with gentle, motivational, and encouraging teacher assistance but without the current standard of agressive physical teacher assistance.
Students and Teachers are encouraged to explore not only yoga practice but develop their own personality with yoga, trying local, national and international yoga classes, attending workshops, conferences, taking up further training and most important keeping an open mind. They are also encouraged to make the "Indian Experience" at least once to connect with Yoga at its roots.
