I have had the chance to go to the grounding retreat twice. It is a personal spiritual experience for each one even though you do it with a group of people. I believe the outcome of such experience differs from one person to another. I personally found it to be a life changing experience. In a time when we are literally running to get everything done on our daily lived, the retreat opened my eyes to meditation and stillness which taught me slow down my life and take care of my well being. Since my first retreat, I developed a love for yoga and made it a daily habit. I promised myself to do that for myself every single day. I have been able to serve my community more by taking time off everything and recharging my batteries. The place where the retreat takes place "St, Benedictine center " is breathtaking and calming. This is an experience to have in a lifetime. You will definitely leave with a different and clearer perspective no matter what religion or no religion you have.

This retreat provided a structured way to rest and connect deeper with the Divine. I thought I needed a retreat like this and I was surprised at how much it will help me on my life-long journey, not just for the weekend.” I highly recommend it for those who want silence and solitude within a supportive community experience.

Gravity’s deepening retreat is a true test of self and an imperative exercise in disconnecting from worldly attachments and remembering one’s spirit. In today’s world, we are bombarded with so much noise. It is commitments like these that open our eyes and our minds up to the beautiful truths that lie in silence, solitude and stillness.

The leadership of this retreat was so effective. I felt encouraged and empowered as a beginner to contemplative spirituality. I was reintroduced to God and affirmed in my identity as a beloved child of God. The group interaction was beautifully facilitated and allowed for openness and vulnerability. I am very excited to implement these practices and disciplines in my active life.

This retreat has challenged me to rest – to rest in the presence of God, in security, and in receiving the Divine love that I so often ignore. I needed this to fuel me for the work ahead. I highly recommend Gravity's work and feel that their retreats are so necessary for all—whether you're a leader, professional, or student. Their retreats provide a burst of life for all vocations.

I’ve done this retreat twice and I don’t know if I would still be working in the capacity I am without these times which allow for stillness and recharging.

If Western spirituality has over emphasized the cognitive over the body, Gravity is on the forefront of bringing us back to our center. On the forefront of spirituality that’s reconciling the separation of mind, body, spirit. Practical spirituality for our pluralistic, contemporary society.
The consciousness in you and the consciousness in me, apparently two, really one, seek unity and that is love. Sri Nisargadatta
