Sacred Valley Retreat and B&B
- Urubamba, Peru
Sacred Valley Retreat B&B, now operating alongside Ninos del Sol, near Cusco in the Peruvian Andes.
Right above the lively yet tranquil, indigenous town of Urubamba, at the foot of Apu Chicon (the snow breathtaking mountain, soaring to 5,419 meters) in the village of Chicon, we now are caring for a lively family of 23 Ninos with no parents, in a beautiful home on a large lush magical piece of land.
Please see our Ninos Del Sol website to learn more, and our 6 min Documentary video. Thanks!
Adjacent to the Home of the Ninos is our beloved Sacred Valley Retreat B&B, with 7 private round cozy bungalows, each with it’s private bathroom and hot showers.
These thatched roof dorms are colourfully decorated by an accomplished and creative local artist, each representing one of the 7 Chacras.
There is a large, light filled round Yoga Temple to host workshops and classes, a small round Meditation space with 400 crystals, and a lovely dining room with a well stocked kitchen for our guests.
The Ninos themselves work at our B&B, learning the Art of Hospitality, while earning a small income. In most cases they wish to save most of this income towards their future studies, when they complete high school.
Income from our Retreat Center goes directly to support the Ninos Del Sol home.
Our Sacred Valley Retreat B&B won a Certificate of Excellence with 5 stars last year for outstanding hospitality, endorsed by our guests through Tripadvisor.
In our new location we offer similar programs for wellness and transformation, including: Kundalini Yoga, Breema Bodywork (The Art of Being Present), sitting and walking meditations, awe- inspiring walks and treks in the surrounding mountains (from one hour to several days), delicious & healthy (mostly organic, vegan and vegetarian) cuisine ~ often a mix of local Andean ingredients, with Middle Eastern flavors. We specialize in Special Diets!
We offer a unique environment for healing, relaxation, rejuvenation and inspiration.
