In October 2008 the first property opened: Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness, located in the Urubamba Valley on the banks of the river Vilcanota. This hotel has been built in an area of 10 hectares, on the grounds of a 17th century colonial hacienda. This manor was completely restored and decorated according to the tradition of its greatest years.
Since that time, Aranwa has grown and in total, offers five destinations within Peru: Cusco, Sacred Valley, Colca, Paracas and Vichayito
