Ayahuasca Ceremony

The ceremony starts late in the evening and last until morning. Each participant has a comfortable mat to lay on and Josue our medicine guide and his family will be present all night to insure your comfort and safety.

We begin with an introduction to Ayahuasca and its effects, and what to aspect during the evening. The group then makes a circle and each person shares some words. The group dynamic is very important - Grandmother Ayahuasca not only works on each person individually, but the entire group forms a remarkable bond through which the medicines healing power can express.

Throughout the evening participants can stay on their mat or move about through the space. There will also be a fire where people can express if needed. Josue is an accomplished musician, so throughout the night he and his family will accompany you with beautiful Ayahuasca songs and carefully chosen recorded music as well that greatly enhance the Ayahuasca experience.

The ceremony ends in the morning with another group circle where everyone has another opportunity to share and express their experience. We also delight in cooling coconut water followed by fresh fruit for breakfast. Participants can chat, spend quiet time in the garden or make music.

Free Retreat Givewaway

We love you. And because we do, we're giving away another free retreat.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

I teach yoga part time and am a mom of two toddlers full time. I love my life, but goodness do I need a break. My husband and I have been putting off our wedding ceremony for 4 years because life has gotten in the way. We haven't had a single night alone since our family has grown. I wouldn't change a thing about our lives now, but it would be so wonderful to remember what it's like to 'just be us.' Antrim

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
