About us

Groups interested in a short visit are welcome. Perhaps you are just passing through and need a comfortable place to lay your head or you have come to visit area sites in addition to historical Koinonia Farm such as President Jimmy Carter’s Plains, Georgia, Andersonville Prison, Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village, the Albany Civil Rights Museum or many more such sites. Your group may want to use your time here to conduct your own meeting or retreat. You are welcome to do so.

Helpful information:

  • Please make reservations well in advance of your desired dates. Space is limited.
  • You may join us for communal meals. There is a potluck meal as part of our Gathered Worship on Sundays. You are most welcome to attend. Feel free to bring one of your favorite dishes to add to the feast if you’d likee.
  • You are welcome to attend our daily chapel services if you’d like.
  • We don’t schedule you to work with us if you are registering for this type of visit. If you are interested in a service visit, please look at our Come, See, & Serve option.
  • Scholarships are available to those who wish to visit but cannot afford the full suggested donation. Please contact us by phone at 229-924-0391, or email at visit@koinoniafarm.org, to request a discount code.

Free Retreat Givewaway

We love you. And because we do, we're giving away another free retreat.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

To bring my friend and open her world to the gift of yoga. Denise

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
