Our retreats are uniquely designed in a 7-day immersion format, to offer participants joyful living and awareness practices. No prior experience is necessary. Our newly constructed Meditation retreat center is safe and secure and is located in the beautiful rolling hills in Pullikanam, Idukki district near Vagamon, Kerala, S. India.
This is a great opportunity for first-time western travellers to India. Pick-up and drop-off from Cochin International airport can be arranged at an extra cost. Spots are limited to 10 participants and will go fast. Retreat registrations must be approved by the retreat facilitators before making travel plans.
Your retreat cost includes shared accommodation (2 per room -private rooms- extra and depends on number of retreat participants), 3 healthy Ayurvedic based vegetarian meals, tea and snacks and daily schedule of activities with instruction and facilitation. Participants are guided into self-introspection with a profound experience of the sacred within. Focus is on meditation, silence, breath control practices and Sanskrit Mantra chanting. The practices explore the four streams of Yoga- Raja yoga, Jnana Yoga, Bhakti yoga and Karma yoga.
We start the day off early with a gentle (all-levels) Hatha Yoga Asana practice to enable you to sit still in meditation. Participants are guided gently to explore the inner realms through the Vedic philosophy of India, in discourse, chanting Mantras, Yoga nidra for deep rest and relaxation, Breath-control practices called Pranayama, and visualization /meditation practices. You will have an opportunity to participate in sacred Vedic rituals held for the benefit of all participants in attendance. We will also explore how the science of land, earth and the stars all come into play in your daily living and practices. Healing and transmission sessions are also offered. Serious aspirants on a spiritual path are provided one-on-one guidance and initiation into mantra and other spiritual practices.
Retreat participants are expected to adhere to the etiquette, guidelines and program schedule indicated during the retreat.
