Do you struggle with your inner critic?  Do you want to get out of your head and have space to explore something real and important that’s often neglected? Let’s challenge our inner voices by exploring the stories we tell ourselves about the events in our lives, deconstructing the harmful messaging we get from media, corporations, etc. and exploring the hero archetype as an alternative way of looking at our lives to feel greater clarity, contentment, and power.  This workshop incorporates meditation techniques, inspiring ideas, enriching activities, organic discussions, and deep support.

  • Deconstruct the story you’re telling yourself about who you are and how the world works.
  • Learn how the conclusions we draw about the events in our lives can cast us as the victim of circumstances or the hero of our own life journey.
  • Recraft your life story using the hero archetype that has guided humans across time and culture.
  • Uncover the truth about your courage, resilience, and resourcefulness even in the most difficult circumstances

You are already the hero of your life journey. Let us be allies for each other.

No previous familiarity with Joseph Campbell’s work or any of the techniques are required, just curiosity, openness, and a genuine desire for insight and connection.

“One of Nancy’s strengths is clarity and the ability to communicate in ways that make learning fun. She was very good at ensuring that all of us had plenty of chances to interact and participate.  The retreat was all that the previews led me to believe it would be.  My expectations were absolutely met.” – Shea Coleman, Tacoma, WA.

“Nancy’s teachings are fantastic.  I like that she shares so many experiences from her own life – this was a good reminder that we are all one with similar life experiences.” – Connie Grace, Lakeside CA

“There was so much that was helpful.  Highlights were the guided meditations, the Hero’s Journey as a tool for re-framing, and the group discussions about experiences and feelings. I’ve never examined my life and challenges through this lens and found it insightful, powerful, scary, and exciting!”
