10 DAYS OF IMMERSIVE WORKSHOPS, DIALOG AND PRACTICE IN THE HEART OF SOUTH INDIA!
KOVOLAM BEACH, KERALA, INDIA
MARCH 4TH – 13TH, 2018
Becoming a yoga instructor means to continually nourish and grow in our personal practice and offerings.
Our personal practice is our way in to becoming the best teacher we can be.
When we teach from our best and highest self, we are authentic, empowered and continually connecting with our students, which we believe is the key to magnetizing our offerings including classes, private clients, workshops and retreats.
Being a yoga teacher also means enduring burnout, studio politics and the disillusionment of spiritual centers, commercialism and the reality of economics in an oversaturated market.
Often times these issues will outweigh our personal practice and work only to leave us feeling energetically drained with little inspiration to go on.
During this 10 day retreat you will experience self-reflective workshops, heart opening dialog, and cultural outings to inspire and add to your own personal way of creating your classes. Not only will you receive top notch guidance and education from two of NY’s flourishing yoga instructors, you will also immerse yourself in the healing magic of South India and rediscover the importance of self-care and unconditional love while stoking the inner fire of why YOU wanted to become a teacher in the first place.
ABOUT OUR SCHEDULE
Every day will include a 7:30am Sunrise practice, lecture and discussion followed by a delicious communal brunch where we will continue our studies and dialog as needed.
Along with our daily sunrise practice, we will hold workshops in the afternoon and /or early evening. Some days we will take a short journey to the local village to meet with Ayurveda healers and hold our midday workshops at the village yoga temple. Other days we will remain on Lighthouse beach for our midday and evening workshops.
In between our workshop schedule you will have the option of relaxing on the beach, receiving traditional Ayurveda treatments with plenty of personal time to explore the local setting and integrate your experience through self-practice and inner reflection. There will be one off day where we dedicate our energy towards exploration and travel, taking in the local sights, going to Temples and exploring the surrounding areas.
This is a workshop centric retreat that includes nourishment, time and space for you to uncover and honor the divine truth of why YOU chose to become a YOGA TEACHER. Whether you are a brand-new teacher or a seasoned vet, this journey will color your world with inspiration, new found friendships and practical tools for creating mindful, intuitive and authentic offerings.
