About us

Our six days nestled in the mountains of Southern Dharma will be a time to dwell in profound awareness of our heart’s deepest desire, or bodhicitta—the yearning and purposeful drive that connects us with all living beings, starting with our precious “innermost request.” There will be balanced encouragement for buoying and delving deeply. Supported by the conditions of spring beauty, teachings, fellow practitioners, solitude, and silence, we can invite insights and reinvigorate our heart-minds. The program will include sitting and walking meditation, mindful meals, Dharma discussion, mindful movement, meditative work, and talks by and personal interviews with the teacher. This retreat, held mostly in silence, is recommended for both beginning and experienced meditators who feel drawn to contemplation and mindful living.

Free Retreat Givewaway

We love you. And because we do, we're giving away another free retreat.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Recenter, Rebalance, Renew..... I cannot provide nurture and wisdom to the people I love without the opportunity to fill up my own cup. Diane

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
