Ayahuasca Retreat with San Pedro and Tobacco Purge
- Qhispikay Kawsay Shamanic Ayahuasca Retreats
- Iquitos, Peru
- May 10, 2015 - May 20, 2015 (11 days)
The inner work we need to do feels endless, and we never have the time to do it. ‘Life’ gets in the way, and we slowly become numb to ourselves and our surroundings - a dull autopilot takes over our lives.
This retreat isn’t another opportunity to tune out. It is tuning in. With clarity and awareness we explore our body and mind.
Life, Love and Spirit
Go on a journey into the heart of the Amazon Jungle, working together with our four gifted and ethical Ayahuasca and Huachuma (San Pedro) curanderos (healers) to further develop a greater understanding of life, love and spirit through several of the greatest, if not the greatest spirit plant teachers on our planet.
The discovery that awaits you is a great reward and blessing to have the opportunity to explore in this lifetime.
On this journey in addition to working together in Ayahuasca ceremonies, Huachuma (SanPedro) ceremonies and these gifted Shamans, we will also get to explore the Jungle, up and down the Amazon River and its tributaries, some mild jungle hiking, traditional tribes with their handcrafts and dances, animal life, Iquitos Peru and the Belen market with its section that sells medicinal and spirit plants.
Our Ayahuasca retreats in the Jungle will include an introduction to Huachuma (San Pedro) which will include one ceremony with this sacred healing plant that was and still used in shamanic folk curing ceremonies throughout Peru and several other parts of South America.
You will be able to explore traditional plant spirit shamanism that dates from time immemorial in a safe and secure environment. Join us during our Ayahuasca retreats Huachuma(San Pedro) journeys. We work with integrity and the best of intentions for spiritual awakening, and holistic healing of the mind, body, and spirit.
We have put together this program with great intention to provide for you the ability to come to the Amazon Jungle and feel safe knowing that we have worked hand in hand with these shamans having deep comprehension of their ability and nature, having confidence that you can come to immerse yourself in the realms of Peruvian shamanism with Ayahuasca, Huachuma(San Pedro) and these shamans with security that you are with people who have dedicated their lives to helping others.
In the interest of healing all the shamans work as a team, providing a large a healer to guest ratio by having 4 healers and limiting our guests to a maximum of 8 persons. By directing this in this manner each guest receives the personal care and treatment needed during their stay with us during our ayahuasca retreats.
Our intention is the real healing of the individuals lives and a real focus during our Hauchuma ceremony for you to find your life’s purpose.
As you start to walk out on the way, the way appears.

Hello I am William the organizer and facilitator of these special shamanic journeys.
From the time I was a young child, with a new found sense of wonderment of the world I found myself in, with inquisitiveness and curiosity, I began a search for understanding of life and all that passed before my senses. This drive for understanding to find meaning of life and existence, brought me down a long journey of research through years and years and down many paths. At times through discouragement and material pursuits, later on, through many mistakes and trials, was faced with the un-fulfillment of the modern pursuits that gave me a false sense of meaning.
I am currently 44 years old as of December 2013. At the age of thirty I had a profound spiritual awakening and experience. I was led eventually to the Amazon Jungle to work together with several Shamans, with their sacred plant medicines Ayahuasca and Huachuma. When I began to do ceremonies with these different shamans, I began to experience profound changes within myself. An understanding came to me that was unprecedented in my realm of experience before. Pieces of the puzzle began to come together and I began to see in ways that I had not before understood. A whole new world began to unfold and great healing and transformation transpired.
Now after years and years of work with the shamans and the sacred plant medicines, I have felt compelled to bring to all those that might be called, the ability to experience for themselves, a measure of the experiences, healing and understanding that has made profound changes down to the core of my being. I have hope that through this work, however small, lights a spark of understanding for all that can be touched by the sacred spirit plant medicines. To facilitate and ignite an elevation of consciousness healing and hope for all in unity and love.

“Stumbling across Qhispikay Kawsay Ayahuasca Retreat turned out to be one of the most brilliant and unique times of my life. The wisdom imparted here will remain forever etched in my character.”
-- Kelley Luchs, USA
“Even writing a book could not give a glimpse of what I experienced at Kawsay Ayahuasca Retreat. A life time of psychotherapy could not closely approach what I experienced. I would highly recommend Kawsay Retreat to anyone. What sets it apart is the small group size and the amount of care and support you receive.”
-- Richelle Parker, Mexico
“This was probably the most profound week that I spent in my life. This short week in Peru made so many changes in me that it is difficult to describe. I highly recommend Kawsay Ayahuasca Retreat to any one who wants to make profound changes in their life.”
-- John, Texas,USA.
“They have helped me change my life in so many ways, words cannot express how grateful and thankful I am. There are so many times in the ceremonies where I felt like a button has been reset or reprogrammed. It was like being born again.”
-- Adam Mustpah, Austraila
