Our Bali trainings are very comprehensive in nature, drawing from a wide range of traditions which all reflect the same essential teachings. We have a sizeable team of talented instructors, facilitators, and practitioners with many years of experience, who share from the depths of their hearts, passionately relaying their knowledge and wisdom while embodying what they teach. We accept no more than 30 students per training, to ensure more personalized attention.
Our training will feature our core teaching team, which includes SOSA Director and Co-Founder Simone MacKay, Tina Nance (Yin Yoga), Cat Kabira (Yoga Energetics), Randall O'Leary (Yoga philosophy, Swara Yoga, Mantra and Agni Hotra), Bex Tyrer (Posture Clinics), Eka Sabeh (morning practice) among numerous other instructors and special guests.
Our program emphasizes the practical and experiential aspects of this art and science. Vinyasa/Hatha Flow and Yin Yoga are the primary asana styles taught during the teacher training. An emphasis is also placed on exploring and understanding postures comprehensively, from a variety of perspectives, in our afternoon 'Posture Clinics.' We cover numerous philosophical and yoga related topics with regular presentations including 'The History of Yoga', 'Meditation', 'Pranayama', 'Anatomy & Physiology', 'Nutrition', 'Fasting and Cleansing' and more. In addition, we feature unique workshops, including 'Yoga Activism' and the 'The Art of Offering' (an exploration of Balinese customs and rituals).

This month-long course is powerful, beautiful, and transformational, even as it is intense and challenging, with a steady deepening of one's practice occurring throughout the journey. As teachers, it is an honor to guide, witness, and delight in this process, one that changes and enhances the lives of everyone involved. In other words, all of us!
