La Vita Dolce -An Italian Mindfulness and SelfCare Yoga Retreat

Whisk yourself away to southern Italy, basking in the summer glow, cherishing your body, mind and soul with whole foods, daily mindfulness practices, and complete relaxation. This retreat has been designed for those who lead busy lives and crave to press the reset button intentionally. Lead by Emily Kasman, mindful eating, and meditation coach, yoga instructor, and lover of travel. She will instill an atmosphere that yoga retreat participants dream about; where interactions are meaningful, movement is mindful, and finding time for yourself is a must. Each morning you will greet the day with a seated mindfulness meditation as well as a moving meditation (yoga). During your meals, you will practice mindful eating techniques that will improve any disease in your relationship with food. The meals are made of fresh, organic and seasonal products from the onsite garden inspired by traditional Italian recipes. Your accommodations are located in a healing environment of a Yoga Ashram in Apuglia, Italy, halfway between the Adriatic and Ionic seas.  It is set in a 17th Century “masseria,” or farmhouse, recently renovated and restored to preserve the original structure, and stay true to the nature of the Valle d’Itria, most famous for it’s ancient buildings.  Two excursions are included in the cost of your retreat: an entire day on the Ionic side for a day lounging on the beach and a morning sifting through Martina Franca’s local market.

Retreat Includes:

7 Nights Accommodations at Beautiful Retreat Center in Southern Italy

3 Whole Foods Meals a Day

Round-Trip Group Transport to/from the Airport

    Two daily yoga sessions

    Trip to local market

    Day trip to Ionic Side

Lots of time to rest and explore local village and beach

This retreat center is located in Puglia, in the southern Italy.  The NY Post calls this region magical and Lonely Planet put it in its 2014 must see places list. This area is full of historic and cultural sites.  Beautiful beaches are easily accessible. Martina Franca, the closest town, has a particularly beautiful old town surrounded by stone walls with prominent Baroque gates leading to piazzas and narrow, winding streets.
