Soul Sadhana - A Yoga Trek

Deepen and nourish your Yoga sadhana during this two week long immersion with Ellen Johannesen, a KPJAYI Level II authorized Ashtanga Yoga teacher, at the foot of the Himalayas in magical Nepal. This yoga journey is an immersive experience in each of the three locations we will visit - Daman, Chitlang and Hattiban, all at comfortable low altitudes below 2200 meters. We will trek between these three areas, and then stay put for several days to dive deep into Yoga practice at a safe low altitude. This is a gentle and nurturing way to experience the majesty of Nepal and the poignancy of a Yoga practice at the origins of the philosophy itself.  Enjoy plenty of free time to immerse in your practice, the local culture and to participate in exciting day trips to the surrounding areas.

During our journey, we will experience many facets of traditional Nepali life and culture, from the bustle of Kathmandu to the simpler village life in the countryside.  We will stay in a variety of comfortable accommodations, including a lovely eco-hotel in Kathmandu, local village homestays on the trek, and a beautiful and serene Resort in Hattiban, overlooking the Kathmandu valley.
