The 5-week, Agama 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Course will empower you with the physical and mental tools to teach a complete Hatha Yoga system in a modern style. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to instruct classes that simultaneously balance the Yang (dynamic) andYin (restorative) aspects of being.

The 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Course is designed to be a powerful addition to Agama’s cornerstone retreat: The Level 1 Yoga Intensive. While Level 1 is a unique opportunity intended to be accessible to everyone, as a 200hr TTC student, you will acquire a complete tool-kit to become a successful, modern Yoga instructor, eligible to teach worldwide.

TTC students will complete a highly specialized, 5-week program led by senior teachers that prepares students -physically, mentally and spiritually- to transmit the Agama teachings.

While progressing through the standard, 4-week Level 1 course, TTC students will additionally attend regular, required teacher training sessions, lectures and practical workshops. These daily lectures and practical workshops occur during the Level 1 mid-day break and address teaching-specific materials, theory, curriculum and practice.

Upon completion of the first 4 weeks, TTC students will continue on and receive one additional week; entirely dedicated to deepening into teaching-intensive instruction. Students are also encouraged to attend impromptu (non-required) Sunday activities as well which are geared toward team/community building.

Week 1 and 2- TTC participants will attend:

    All Level 1 classes.

    Extracurricular, off-site activities

Week 3 and 4- TTC participants will attend:

    All morning Level 1 classes,

    A daily, late-morning TTC-focused workshop

    A daily, late-afternoon TTC-focused lecture and/or Hatha Yoga class,

Evening lectures, focused on specific Yogic topics

    Extracurricular, off-site activities

Week 5- TTC participants will attend:

1 additional week of TTC-focused workshops and practical exams, dedicated to deepening into teaching-intensive instruction.

    Extracurricular, off-site activities
