The Advaita & Ayurveda Retreat in Guatemala is intended to offer you the space, guidance and inspiration to allow for 21 days of profound Self-Enquiry Meditation and Yoga sadhana along with Ayurvedic dinacharya. It will be a time devoted to self-enquiry, the joy of yoga, stillness and quietude, and profound healing through the gift of Ayurveda. These 3 weeks will be an intensive process of deepening your understanding of the potency of these sacred ancient teachings and finding the most unique and beneficial way for you to integrate them fully into your life well beyond the retreat. Although this is organized as a group immersion, there will be an ongoing focus upon aiding each practitioner to truly find their own love for enquiry and the most optimal way to create a daily routine that will be serving and bring continued healing, peace and self-knowing. There will be periods and days of silence and reflection, but the entire retreat is not in complete silence.

The Hermitage, as a practitioners retreat center, offers the perfect environment for the retreat, both with its awe-inspiring landscape and its intention to support those who are giving themselves to reflection and devoted practice. The healing waters of Lago Atitlan are nearby and the whole food meals sourced from their own gardens only contribute further to the nourishment received here. It is a truly welcomed respite.

This retreat is ideal, but not exclusively intended, for those with a background in yoga and current teachers looking to deepen their self-knowledge, ground themselves in their personal sadhana, and integrate the wisdom of Ayurveda further into their lives and offerings.
