In 2017 the Ayaruna Center (www.ayaruna.com) in association with Paz y Luz (www.pazyluzperu.com), ayahuasquero Javier Regueiro together with Luz Maria Ampuero will be holding a 12-day San Pedro plant medicine retreat that includes 4 San Pedro (Huachuma) ceremonies as well as a one-day excursion which will include a visit to the Inca ruins of Tipon and lunch at Los Ninos Hacienda in Huasao.
This retreat will begin with an introductory meeting on Monday afternoon.
On Tuesday we shall have a formal opening of the retreat with a breathing and guided meditation process and an offering to the Earth. After that we have luch in Urubamba at El Huacatay Restaurant.
On Wednesday, Saturday, Monday and the Thursday will be the San Pedro ceremonies.
On the second Wednesday we will participate in a movement/dance meditation led by Luz Maria Ampuero.
The morning after each ceremony we will also gather to process whatever needs to be processed from the previous ceremony.
Additional guidance will be available at all times during the week.
It is also important that participants refrain completely from recreational alcohol and drug use (this includes marijuana and caffeine) for at least two weeks before and after the ceremonies. This will greatly improve the quality of the experience for everyone involved. It is important to honour this requirement.
Both experienced and non-experienced people are invited to attend. All the necessary information and guidance on the use of this medicines will be given at the beginning of the experience.
Attendance to this event is limited to 10 people in order to allow each and every one to receive what they need.
Cost for this retreat is 1150 U$ per person with single room occupancy, and 1050 U$ for double room occupancy.
A formal opening of the retreat, meditation and despacho, lunch at El Huacatay restaurant in Urubamaba, plus the introductory talks on the medicines,
4 San Pedro ceremonies as well as the dinners thereafter,
1 movement/dance meditation led by Luz Maria Ampuero,
4 integration sessions and additional guidance throughout the retreat,
Lodging at Paz y Luz, breakfast included.
All other costs are at the expense of the participants.
