The Where & What:
The Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica is one the most beautiful and untouched places one earth! Our retreat will be held in this spectacular place and we will be hosted by one of the most amazing eco-resorts, The Blue Osa. The Blue Osa Retreat Center is tucked away in the heart of Osa offering an unparalleled, all inclusive experience that boasts a beautiful indoor/outdoor yoga room, a private pool, miles of pristine beach, fresh and organic meals 3x a day with a introduction from the chef each day explaining the origin and tradition behind the food, a variety of spa treatments, uniquely decorated and beautiful rooms, and a friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Through our yoga practices, meditations, self-care time, adventures, and healthy meals we will be creating and nourishing roots of happiness that will cultivate a knowledge and understanding of what makes us feel good so that as we step back into our daily lives we can make choices and take actions from a place rooted in joy, and clarity.

-a special gift from Lara and Erica
Erica has been practicing yoga since the age of 15 when a diagnosis of scoliosis led her down the life-changing path of yoga. She earned her yoga teacher certification in 2008 and has since achieved her 500 hr YTT and has studied intensively with Mary Bruce, Rod Stryker, Arun Deva, Michelle Dante, Max Strom and Sangeet Kaur Khalsa. She currently owns Vibetality Studio and is always excited to expand her knowledge and offerings to the world.
Costa Rica is a place of magic and intrigue for Erica and she is beyond excited to explore the Osa with an amazing group of yogis. After visiting Costa Rica once in 2009 she has been dreaming of returning and is so grateful for this opportunity.
Lara's path of self-discovery started in 1994. After college, she moved to Arizona to deepen her practice and knowledge of yoga and has studied many forms including kundalini, ashtanga, anusara, hatha, and restorative. She has been teaching for over 15 years and specializes in trauma yoga. She currently works at Vibetality Studio, The Meadows Outpatient Center, and owns OM3 Yoga.
The Osa Peninsula holds a great significance in Lara's life. It was in 2000 while on holiday in Osa that she was inspired to earn her yoga teaching certification. She feels that Osa is great place to unwind, open up, and hear the many messages the world has for you - messages that can intimately and eternally change your life experiences.
