In this 7-day retreat the ancient techniques of Yoga and Mindfulness are skilfully blended with modern scientific research for a program that will reduce stress, increase vitality and balance the emotions. Students will explore Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Therapeutic Yoga techniques, Nidra Yoga for a complete mind-body integration.
The daily schedule is designed for those who want the best of both worlds – personal development while still having ample free time to enjoy the tropical surroundings of island life. The last day will be conducted in silence for an opportunity to put into practice all the skills learned over the week.
Outline of the week:
Day 1 – 6 – Monday to Saturday
9 – 11 – Therapeutic Yoga Class focusing on a specific health aspect
11 – 12:00 – Break
12:00 – 13:30 – Daily Teaching of Mindfulness
13:30 – 14:00 – Yoga Nidra Practice
End of Day
Day 7 – Sunday – 9 – 3 pm day of contemplation in silence
The last day will be conducted in silence. The day is an opportunity to put into practice all the skills learned over the week.
Each participant will also be given a retreat workbook to reflect and journal their experience.
