Flower of Life: 13 Day Ayahuasca Women's Retreat - May 3-15, 2017
- Lakshmi Ecolodge and Holistic Spa
- Nauta, Loreto, Perú
- May 3, 2017 - May 15, 2017 (13 days)
The circumstances of our lives, and conditioned responses based on these circumstances, can lead to feelings of disconnection, depression, hopelessness and anger. The incredible wisdom found in the mother plant Ayahuasca, along with the support of other women who are focusing on connecting with the wisdom, intuition and magic of their innate divine feminism, is now desperately needed in our lives and on our planet. We invite you to Lakshmi's Flower of Life 13 day Women's Retreat, to reclaim your joy and power and release any limiting beliefs you may have about yourself.
At the magical temple of Lakshmi, located in the Amazon jungle, our women's retreat has a different approach from your standard Ayahuasca centers, because we don't believe anything about the jungle or the mother plant are standard. You will find a deeply personal experience that celebrates individuality and creativity. We will hold 5 ceremonies with the powerful plant teacher and healer Ayahuasca, led by our gifted maestra who has over 30 years of experience. We have no more than ten people in this retreat to make sure every participant receives the deepest and most profound amount of healing possible and truly individualized care and attention.
ln addition to having Ayahuasca ceremonies, we will hold ceremonies and workshops exploring shamanic journeying using drumming, music and guided visualization to learn shamanic healing without plants. We aim to help women explore and connect with the mystical aspects of this world we live in, with and without plant assistance. Along with meditation and yoga, we will have several workshops and classes throughout the retreat, such as exploring the mysterious worlds of esotericism and alchemy, and channeling sexual energy for spiritual growth and creativity, as well as activities to bring us together as women, including women's circles, fire ceremonies, creative arts, hiking, star gazing and a variety of other classes.
We are very focused on homeopathic healing and healing with food. You will find our Ayahausca menu to be very health conscious, including green juices and many superfoods. We can cater to vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets. You will also learn how to make your own organic, vegan, chemical free skin products in our creativity classes. Our 13 day women's retreat aims to provide deep emotional, spiritual, and physical healing in a beautiful and safe environment.
Lakshmi is located in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve outside the city of Iquitos, Peru. We work with highly qualified healers with decades of experience and facilitators who have worked with the medicine for years to help guide you on your journey. Your healing, health and happiness is our first priority.
You will be picked up from La Casona hotel in Iquitos at 8 am. On the way to Lakshmi we will stop at a manatee rescue center to learn about the peaceful manatee and the important role they play in our ecosystem. After visiting the manatee rescue center, we will continue to the retreat on a scenic boat ride up the Maranon river. Upon arriving at Lakshmi you will receive your first floral bath to begin the process of infusing yourself with plant and light energy. After lunch an orientation will be held to introduce ourselves and to explain the healing journey you are about to undertake over the next 13 days, as well as to answer any questions you may have. You will then move into your cottages and have time to acclimate and relax before dinner, as well as take a guided walk to familiarize yourself with the grounds. There will be an evening meditation class on Tantric meditation.
Before breakfast you will have a onetime vomitivo to help cleanse the body, physically and energetically, to prepare for ceremony. After breakfast, there will be a creativity class, which can range from art, writing, movement or making your own organic, vegan, chemical free body products. In the afternoon you will have your personal consultation with the healers and your facilitators. The rest of the afternoon will be for personal reflection and relaxation. There will be steam baths with medicinal plants the day of all Ayahuasca ceremonies and yin yoga will be held before all ceremonies. Ceremony 1
Daily plant remedies will begin before breakfast. After breakfast there will be a morning class on energy healing, which can range from how to better open the 3rd eye, seeing energy fields, channeling sexual energy, visualization or Egyptian alchemy. There will be an afternoon class of mantra meditation.
In the morning we will take a boat ride to explore the wildlife, such as birds, fish, primates and other mammals, in the Sapira (a buffer zone in the Pacaya Samira). In the afternoon you will have free time for personal reflection and relaxation or to take an afternoon creativity class which can range from art, singing, writing, movement or making natural body products. Ceremony 2
Along with your morning plant remedies we will offer a yoni steam bath in a private setting for those who would like to use medicinal herbs to help clear the sexual organs, both physically and energetically. Our morning activity will be a group share to discuss the previous night's journeys, share insights, and ask questions.
