Dr. Ariele Foster

Ariele Foster, PT, DPT, E-RYT 500 is a doctor of physical therapy, an anatomy teacher for yoga teacher trainings, and a long-time yoga teacher with a passion for quality yoga instruction. She founded Yoga Anatomy Academy where she leads online yoga anatomy mentorships. She also leads yoga and yoga anatomy retreats around the world through her site, sacredsourceyoga.com.

Her teaching is grounded in both the compassionate approach of Kripalu Yoga and her deep understanding of musculoskeletal well-being from working with thousands of patients. Ariele has completed trainings in Kripalu, Anusara, Therapeutics, Hatha Yoga and the tradition of Maty Ezraty / YogaWorks.

Ariele grew up practicing yoga with her grandmother, Lilo, a Holocaust survivor and all-around inspiration, who still taught multiple yoga classes weekly in her late 80's.Ariele later explored dozens of styles of yoga, the best of which she weaves into her interdisciplinary vinyasa classes. Ariele loves to teach students of all ages and abilities.
