Joel Delaquis

Joël Delaquis shares his deep passion for awareness and education using sound, rhythm and music, yoga and movement as powerful pathways for discovery and transformational experiences.

A musician, yoga teacher and event producer, Joël has toured and travelled extensively as soul adventurer, museum interpreter, and professional recording artist. He has over thirty years of experience in the production of national events with expertise in programming, communications, artistic direction, training, production and the performing arts. His visionary spirit brings depth, curiosity and expansiveness to projects and collaborations.

Along with life partner and Co-founder of Mouvement, Tatiana Nemchin, Joël co-created Elaborhythm and RhythOm - playshops exploring sound, rhythm, movement and percussive play. Joël creates musical soundscapes for yoga classes, dance, performances and other events using drums, percussion, metals, Halo, flutes and guitars.

Joël has studied with respected teachers Yogrishi Vishvketu, Paule Lebrun and Gordon Robertson of Ho Rites of Passage, Arthur Hull and Gary Muszynsky and has collaborated with numerous stellar artists and renowned professionals.

Joël's playful explorations are reflected in his approach to coaching, teaching and mentoring.
