Leslie Bishop – Game Changer
In her practice, teaching and lecturing, Leslie helps individuals and couples navigate through the comfort of happy lifestyles, everyday monotony, and the thrilling uncertainty of attraction, intimacy and change. Leslie is changing the conversation on how we as a human race communicate with ourselves and each other.
Leslie helps couples reclaim curiosity, connection and passion by creating a space for safe, nonjudgmental and therapeutic work with secrets, confidentiality, transparency and truth telling. Her approach uses creative interventions helping to unlock energetic blocks stemming from shame, fear, guilt and anger. She facilitates a discourse to encourage emotional risk taking to open up communication about boundaries, feelings and basic human needs.
Known for her passionate and enthusiastic pulse, Leslie shifts the paradigm of our traditional approach to relationship from a ‘power-against’ strategy to a ‘power-with' blueprint. In her work with trauma informed yoga, Leslie helps to uncover that which hides our most authentic nature of wisdom and kindness.
She is regularly sought out for her expertise in relational health and communication, team building, emotional intelligence, couples and family identity, dating and corporate relationships. She holds a private practice in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and speaks regularly on compassionate communication, emotional intelligence, trauma, conflict resolution and intimacy. She is the co-director of the Therapeutic Approach Yoga Teacher Training School (TAYS) and owner of Novi Yoga Inc., a yoga retreat company specializing in healing vay/stay cations for those who are interested in doing the work.
Leslie is a Certified Vinyasa Yoga Teacher at the 1000hour level and Yoga Life Coach. Inspiring". Leslie incorporates Buddhist philosophy, mindfulness practice and unadulterated LOVE into every class.
