Piper Selden, MA, MFA - Director of Curriculum and Pedagogy
Piper Selden is a writer, educator, and activist. A perennial student, she holds a BA in English/Writing, an MA in English/Composition and Rhetoric, and an MFA in Creative Writing. Presently, Piper is a doctoral candidate at University of Hawaii at Manoa, working toward a PhD in English Composition and Rhetoric. She is on the faculty and teaches for the University of Hawaii system on the Big Island of Hawaii. Piper is a certified Western herbalist with a thriving practice. She is also a lightworker and Third Degree Reiki Master with clientele around the world. Piper writes and has published in a variety of genres, including the sciences and academia, creative nonfiction, fiction, and poetry. Upcoming books include Beyond the Frontier (a book on first-year composition), Invisible Daughters, and The Momcologist is In: Life, Parenting, and Cancer.
