Erin AirOut

Erin has dedicated herself to studying the nature of consciousness and practising the art of living. She began her Yogic and mystical tradition exploration at a very young age. Studying Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence at University of Toronto, she simultaneously began a Yoga teacher training. She learned Transcendental Meditation from a student of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, and practised TM diligently for six years. She continues extensive and on-going training in Yoga and Meditation. Erin sits and serves in Vipassana meditation courses as taught by S.N. Goenka in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin. She maintains five precepts and two hours of meditation daily. She serves with a strong and dedicated team at Dhammanjali Meditation Centre and studies Paryatti with Venerable Bhante Debongshi. In pursuit of a life-long dream, she recently became a student at Chung Wah Kung Fu Systems under the supervision of Master Lee Chi Wai, a 31st generation Shaolin Temple warrior monk disciple.

Erin’s career pursuits are in both Culinary Arts and Agroecology. She is also an experienced and passionate urban farmer, permaculture forest gardener, and promotes the fundamentals of health that start with plant-based food-medicine.

Erin expresses herself through visual arts, folk crafts, and music. Her musical passion is experienced through ancient ritual and folk songs spanning many traditions, purposes, and cultures. She sings in many languages and plays percussion. Additionally, she continues the lifelong incremental study of Vedic Chanting and facilitates Sanskrit chanting workshops. Erin’s mission is spreading health, kindness, compassion, and peace.
