After leaving behind a conventional life path and a promising career, Roey has traveled and lived in remarkable and unique places around the world, meeting inspiring people and teachers that have expanded and enriched his knowledge and experience in many different ways. Roey has lived in intentional communities, working with disabled children, gardening, cooking and studying various philosophies and spiritual word views. This is what lead him to seek alternative ways of living and encouraged him in his dream to create a holistic center with a focus on health, education and nature.
Roey's affair with surfing began in 2013, in Ayampe Ecuador, and since then his passion and love for it is ever growing.
"Surfing is not just a sport to us, it is a way of life!"
It requires willingness, dedication and hard work, and yet at the same time, is an immense amount of fun. Living a surfing lifestyle means really connecting with the ocean – waking up to check the waves, planning your day according to the tides, and experiencing the relaxation of siting on your board waiting for the swell, and then the exhilaration of catching a wave.
