Naani Sheva is a fresh Forrest Yoga teacher, studying under Ana Forrest in June of 2013 in San Francisco. Naani came to Yoga during her college years in Vermont as a way to deal with the stresses of academia. After graduating she followed her heart to the mountains of Colorado where she pursued her passions for the outdoors. It was here that she delved deeper into her yoga practice wanting to understand all that yoga had to offer for her physical and spiritual self and to soothe sore muscles from snowboarding and mountain biking the rugged San Juan Mountains. Forrest yoga proved to be the most dynamic answer with a deeply intelligent, powerful and playful practice. Naani’s love for people and the connections that build community are her deepest motivations for teaching. Naani creates a safe, inviting and fun space for all students to come and learn their own skilfulness through Forrest Yoga.

Created by Ana Forrest, a woman with over 40 years of teaching experience, Forrest Yoga is designed to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people today. Poses are held longer with a focus on alignment to build heat and strength in the body. Great care is taking to prevent, work with and heal injuries.
