A month ago I did a Ayahuasca retreat in Peru with Paul as Shaman. To simply say the experience change my life doesnt do justice to the magnitude of the change. Although I fully acknowledge that I did the work, the space that Paul created and held allowed for much of that work to be done. Paul's wealth of wisdom and training is mindblowing but again, the magnitute of that can only be understood by sharing space with him. After my 1st ceremony, I was left with a lot of angry and negative energy that, even as a level 2 Reiki practitioner, I could not shake off. I spoke with Paul about it as he did some energy work on me. The work he performed not only had an immediate effect but enabled me to really process the previous nights experiences as well. My other ceremonies with Paul were also very very deep with each intention being fully expressed and experienced and each building on the previous one. I feel that Mother Ayahuasca wanted for Paul to preside over my ceremony. Too many events coordinated themselves for it to just be a random occurrence. I hope Mother Ayahuasca coordinates your path as well. Thank you Mother Ayahuasca! Thank you Universe! Thank you Paul!!!

I cannot sing the praises enough about our shaman Paul Diamond, who stepped in for the original Shipibo shamans who were originally booked for our retreat in The Sacred Valley of Peru in August 2016. He conducted three Ayahuasca ceremonies over the first five days. Not only did Paul preside over each Ayahuasca experience, he came back in a group share session in the days after each ceremony to listen to our experiences and to offer his insights about them. He also answered our questions from his vast knowledge in various shamanic traditions. The conversations were intriguing and insightful. But during each several-hour Ayahuasca ceremony, witnessing Paul create a safe space and hold it while addressing each participant—including myself—in times of need was one of the most amazing acts of astute intuition and selfless compassion I’ve ever seen. He took his work very seriously, yet in times of propriety, he was so human and humorous and endearing. We all worked together and laughed together. Having the Ayahuasca experience delivered by an English-speaker (albeit one with a charming British accent) to a Western-raised mind and body left me with no anxieties whatsoever and also gifted me with more knowledge than I came with about the rituals, the ceremony itself and shamanism. I owe that to Paul.

My recent venture to Peru outside the small town of Pisac I had my first experience with the ancient Shamanistic medicine know as Ayahuasca. Having heard all the war stories individuals have had taking this potent botanical I found my own experience to be awakening, healing and enlightening. I expected to have a horrid experience, at 54 years of age I have gone through a difficult time in my life separating from my place of employment, and have had many emotional blocks and traumas from childhood. My experience with the medicine was not at all what I expected, and I did expect to suffer and see all me demons. This is not what I was shown by Mother Ayahuasca, instead she showed me all the love I have in my heart for Life, and for my Creator, unbound, untainted pure Love, which I basked in for my entire session. Now I know there is a God, and that God lives in my heart. In seeing this my successive sessions showed me that I just need to express this pure love in my day to day life, and all would be well. Such a simple and powerful revelation, and it is life transforming. I would have had no idea I was full of such love as the years of my life had left me torn, battered, and callous. I was quite fortunate to have a Shaman the venerable Paul Diamond to lead the group who attended the retreat in Pisac, he performed all ceremonies with conviction and precision, calling on the protective forces both divine and natural to preside over us as we journeyed into the mystical ream of Mother Ayahuasca. Paul also engaged us in conversation sharing his depth of knowledge on all matters concerning healing of both Body Mind and Sprint. There was no subject that I could recall were he did not demonstrate mastery and depth of knowledge. I am grateful that he chose this path and that I was fortunate enough to have him as my mentor for this first experience. Paul's focus is on divinity and ascension rather than the traditional Shaman who use animal spirits to guide devotes into there darkness. I felt this was key in the process. I would highly advise any novice having there first time experience to seek him out. Experienced practitioners will not be disappointed either as he has been practicing and traveling the world for 15 years honing his craft, and he is good at what he does. Many blessing Paul, and I am eternally grateful for your efforts. I will remember you forever.
Retreat is like placing yourself in a very pure container in which your own mind becomes very clear. Lama Tsultrim
