Lindsay Bates grew up on the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond in rural Scotland, and has always loved the outdoor life and being in nature. Having lived in France for 3 years, she is fluent in French and enjoys soaking up France's joie-de-vivre. She is trained in Swedish and Californian massage from the Ecole Azenday in Paris, and will be delighted to give all guests a complimentary back, neck and shoulder massage. She is a keen yoga practitioner and a certified dance teacher through Dance Leadership UK.
Once a choreographer running her own theatre company in Aberdeen, Scotland, Lindsay now continues to study contemporary dance with Dia Danse in Paris. She combines these elements to create fun and invigorating active meditation sessions on retreat. Vegetarian since the age of 13 and now a vegan, Lindsay is also the retreat’s resident chef and is looking forward to sharing her passion for conscious eating and healthy, delicious, home-cooked food.
