Dr. Lisa Leit, Founder of The Happy Whole Human Institute of Holistic Wellness, is an executive coach and management consultant. She conducts academic, leadership, and enterprise level instruction, inspirational seminars, data gathering and analysis, holistic wellness consulting, mediation, and relationship coaching. Her clients include families, conscious companies, government leaders, professional athletes, university systems, and small and large-scale organizations. Lisa also trains and certifies HAPPY WHOLE HUMAN® coaches and provides continuing education to professionals from a variety of sectors.
Lisa passionately champions the message that "There is a 'WE' in WELLNESS!" In other words, relationship health is key to the holistic health of individuals, families, organizations, and society. Her mission is to provide individuals (including herself!) and organizations with a safe, confidential space to relax, reflect, and snap out of unconscious patterns via mindfulness and holistic wellness to overcome obstacles and be more fulfilled, productive, and healthy NOW!
Her HAPPY WHOLE HUMAN® products and the Holistic Wellness Coaching vision, approach, and methods are enhanced by applied experience in diverse settings and over 20 years of education. Her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin (UT) in Human Ecology with an emphasis on the psychology of interpersonal communication qualify her as an expert in the fields of developmental psychology and behavioral dynamics. Trained to conduct quantitative research by top in field professors and pioneers in the field of interpersonal relationships, her cutting edge comprehensive holistic wellness self-assessment and corresponding online curriculum facilitate the optimal balance of self and other focus by empowering individuals as they overcome unconscious patterns of narcissism and codependence to achieve well-being and relationship fulfillment.
Publications include The HAPPY WHOLE HUMAN Handbook (2016), Conversational Narcissism in Marriage (2008, with co-authors Dr. Debby Jacobvitz and Dr. Nancy Hazen-Swann), and entries on both “Communication and Narcissism” and “Narcissism in Marriage” in the International Encyclopedia of Interpersonal Communication.
