Jesus Rodriguez

I learned the Ayahuasca tradition from the Shipibo culture of Yarinacocha Lagoon, Ucayali River in Pucalpa Perú and also was an apprentice of an Ashaninka Peruvian shaman.

I begin my work with Ayahuasca with this wisdom and knowledge from the Shipibo tradition, with a personalized approach using different Ayahuasca mixtures according to each case and working with group ceremonies and personal sessions.  I prepare each brew in the traditional way and recipes using only Amazonian rainforest wild whole plants ethically harvested.  My ceremonies follow the traditional Shipibo way, with the use of icaro singing as the main guide.

My mother introduced me to a shamanic lineage of the Temazcal sweat lodge and manual therapy, passed down from at least 5 generations, and I continue working and incorporating this into my healing work to this day.  I have around 7 years of experience practicing in the Riviera Maya where I work with other spiritual and fitness retreats, healing practitioners, and with people with depression, anxiety, addictions, and other illnesses.  While not working at Oka Center or elsewhere, I live in Tulum.
