Abhishek Daas

Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga Philosophy

“Abhishek was born and raised in India’s capital, New Delhi, to a family with roots in Kerala – the southern part of India, also known as the home of Ayurveda. He finished his schooling in Varanasi, where he met Swami Anil. The teachings on Ashtanga Yoga Philosophy inspired him to use yoga not just as a means to meditate or improve physically, but for deep, genuine personal transformation. He began teaching yoga in Varanasi and other parts of India.

In 2010 Abhishek moved to the U.S. where he taught yoga for five years before returning to India to follow his dream of living in the Himalayas. He now teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yoga History, and Yoga Philosophy in Rishikesh and does custom historical walking tours of the city. Abhishek and his wife, Sapna, also a Yoga Instructor, work with several organisations in India to create yoga therapy programs for trauma survivors and survivors of human trafficking.

Free Retreat Givewaway

We love you. And because we do, we're giving away another free retreat.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

After having just completed my RYT 200 I have been inspired to further my yoga journey and my own personal journey inward. I have fallen in love with yoga and how it has changed my life and I just want to continue to explore so I can share this beautiful gift with as many as possible. Jessica
