Jennifer Barone

Jennifer Barone has been practicing yoga since 1998 and teaching since 2003. She completed her yoga certification in New York City and teaches weekly classes, workshops, retreats, private and corporate lessons in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2005. Jennifer teaches a multi-level, challenging but do-able class and intuitively constructs a sequence for those in the room. She incorporates techniques from various disciplines including Vinyasa, Kundalini, Qi Gong, Restorative, Embodiment / Energy work and Meditation. She strives to create a welcoming, non-competitive space and to promote a yoga that is for every-body regardless of level, age, shape, background or belief system. She strives to make yoga a tangible and accessible philosophy that is applicable to daily life, on and off the mat. In her personal life Jennifer loves to travel and has studied art and design. She is a published poet and organizes community readings and events. She also practices Japanese tea ceremony in the Zen tradition and enjoys sound healing music. She believes that all art forms are a way of connecting to our inner world and allow us a channel to express what feels inexpressible.
