Brianna’s journey toward a career in healing began at a young age when she became an avid athlete. She has always had a deep curiosity in how the body is challenged and the measures necessary to keep it healthy. In her early twenties she started traveling the world and embraced the opportunity to learn from and be a part of the many different cultures she encountered, specifically becoming interested in the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Inspired by what she experienced abroad, Brianna went on to study Acupuncture at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver, B.C. and completed further studies at Pacific Rim College in Victoria B.C. with a Doctorate of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Compelled to deepen her practice, she pursued postgraduate studies at the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University in Tianjin, China, where she had the honour of training under some of China’s most renowned doctors in the field of stroke rehabilitation and paralysis.
Brianna believes that the body is constantly striving for balance and that it truly has the power to heal itself. With the proper treatment and care, resolving the root cause of health issues can be the turning point on the road to recovery. She is dedicated to helping her patients optimize their health with comprehensive treatment plans to restore balance and vitality into their lives. She works with acupuncture, cupping and dietary therapy to provide support and healing for various ailments such as digestive imbalances, musculoskeletal disorders, sleep disturbances, hormonal balancing, emotional support, immune support and energy balancing. She looks forward to cohosting retreats and is available to travel worldwide to provide treatments.
Brianna is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA) as well as a member of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of British Columbia (TCMABC).
