Yogi Raj (Rahul Singh). He was born in 1986 in Meerut City and graduated from School also there. At the age of 16 years, he went to a monastery, where I lived during 5 years. At this time he learned yoga philosophy of yoga, asana & pranayama by his holiness guru ji Swami Karshni Guru Sharnanand Ji in his Udaseen Karshni Ashram (Raman Reti Ashram) At the monastery, he also learned Bhakti Yoga, mantra chanting and ancient meditation techniques through traditional Hatha yoga practice. Since 2005 to 2010 Yogi Raj went to Gyan Yoga Bhumi, Varanasi to learn Sanskrit, Yoga Philosophy of Patanjali Yoga Sutras by Swami Atmanand Ji. After the monastery education, in 2011 he got the diploma in Computer Science, Software & Networking and started a career as Computer Teacher by working in Karshni InfoTech & Institute for 3 years. He was fond of Yoga Science and finally decided to quit his job as IT and follow the path of Yogi. In 2012 he came to Rishikesh, met his Guru Dr. Pandey and decided to follow him. At this year he become a certified Yoga Teacher by completed his TTC 500 Hours. After that he starts his own teaching practice in Vedangas Yoga School, then other schools in form of drop/regular/private classes. Since Januar 2017 Rahul joined Vedansha Yoga. Yogi Raj: ‘’ I share my understanding in the teachings of Traditional Hatha Yoga, Philosophy, Pranayama, Meditations, Mantra chanting and various Cleansing Processes. Yoga surely helps to stay relaxed in situations with different emotional intensity.” My purpose as a teacher: to touch every heart and open every soul for transformation through easy understanding and performing of yoga postures, pranayama, meditation and mantra chanting. I understand that not everybody can follow yoga way easily that’s way I have patience and want to help to everyone who desires to go yoga path in order to connect with himself.
