Dorota Los

Dorota is a qualified Massage Therapist, and Yoga and Pilates Instructor. She graduated from a Masters course in Physiotherapy in 2007, and since then has gained a wealth of experience working in a number of health settings, first in Italy and then in Australia. As a massage therapist Dorota's preferred method of choice is the Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Nui massage.

Dorota is committed to not only to her professional but also personal development. She has continued to experience the benefits of gradually opening her own heart and expanding her connectedness with Mother Earth and the rest of humanity. Dorota has found useful tools to support her growth and attends different programmes, gatherings, circles and retreats at various locations around the world.

This pursuit of inner growth and peace led Dorota to fly to the Sacred Valley of Peru, which is a home to the native Quechuas. She experienced first hand the sacred rituals, women’s circles, and gained some understanding of the Quechuas ancient knowledge. Dorota brought all of these experiences, gently tucked away in her heart, back to Gozo, where she continued the journey into herself. This journey revealed some significant learning curves for her and she could no longer postpone embarking on the inner work which entailed learning to accept herself fully, to grow her genuine self-love rather than getting caught up in self-judging which her mind had been so accustomed to.

Finally, her intuition brought Dorota to India where during her six month stay, she graduated from a yoga teacher course, which once again reminded the importance of embodiment in all aspects of our human existence. During the training she also received advanced instruction in meditation, mantras, and Pranayama practices, which helped her quit smoking for good. Since then she became a passionate advocate of the Pranayama breathing exercises! After returning to Gozo, Dorota was filled with new ideas and was determined to put the vision into life and share her love, gratitude and life experiences with her clients. She now runs regular retreats and her studio situated in a beautiful traditional Gozitan house in Xaghra is open to anyone who would like to sample some of the bliss, tranquility, joy and acceptance that she has found during her travels and the inner journey she has undergone along the way.
