About This Center

Sun Salute Peru: The first hotel, is located in Urubamba, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the hotel is surrounded by views of the Andes Mountains. Situated at an altitude of 9400 feet / 2850 meters, Urubamba benefits from a healthy climate and really nice weather throughout the year. Furthermore, this moderate altitude (roughly 1800 feet / 550 meters less than the city of Cusco) will help your body to better acclimatize on arrival, so you can avoid altitude sickness.

We offer our guests a quiet and relaxing environment with beautiful gardens, views of the surrounding mountains and easy access to lots of fun adventure activities, like the Via Ferrata. White Water Rafting and your group will also get to experience a traditional Peruvian Temazcal Ceremony, under a blanket of stars.

Our large indoor yoga room has lots of windows and a fire place, and can hold up to 20 people. We have a massage therapist on site, so for those who are not wanting to do one of the included activities, they can exchange it for a massage instead and relax around the gardens.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

My inspiration is to find some very much needed solace away from the stress of raising 4 children, working (as a dietitian) and trying to get my private nutrition counseling practice launched. I am a registered yoga instructor and have practiced for over 10 yrs, and have always dreamed of taking a yoga retreat just for my own inner well being. Linda

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
