Prana Veda Bali Sanctuary

About This Center

Tucked away in a remote village in the unspoilt north-eastern part of Bali, between the mountains and the Indian Ocean. Lies your secluded resort, in Bondalem-a Balinese village, a place where you can still find the island of the Gods in its traditional, spiritual and magical variety. A hidden paradise in the middle of an exotic garden, an oasis with tropical fruits, flowers and coconut trees. Here you will find endless space to absorb the unlimited expanse of the sea, to dream under palm trees and just be.

All rooms in the sanctuary have wooden floors and are furnished in Balinese and colonial style with antique furniture and decorated with Indian silks. Room feature magnificent views of the ocean, a natural stone bathroom with hot water, and a private garden or terrace.

Prana Veda Sanctuary offers 2 swimming pools, one is an infinity pool overlooking the ocean and the other is a secluded Watsu Therapy Pool. A Health and Ayurvedic Spa is available on-site.

Don't go - overpriced and poor quality

Positives: The group of people I was with were wonderful, the Balinese staff were great, good massages, and Bali is beautiful. Negatives: Ridiculously overpriced, poor quality furnishings, oppressive atmosphere, inexperienced yoga teacher, unhealthy food, terrible bathroom with a dripping shower that was cold most of the time, Balinese staff exploited - contracts not honoured. Run and owned by arrogant, exploitative, reportedly drug-ailed hippy, insistent on telling you how full of peace and light she is while charging 4x the price the place is worth to live out her delusional colonial dream.
