About This Center
Each year, the Holistic Centers Gathering is a rich and inspiring opportunity for directors, managers and co-workers of holistic centers, retreat centers and wellbeing resorts to meet with their peers from around the world. Each one of us brings our Centers’ experiences, perspectives and challenges, understanding that we all have something to share and learn from each other. We tend to have fun and leave more inspired, aware and energized about how we can successfully achieve our missions!
The Centers' Gathering began over 30 years ago and is hosted in a different location each year. The heart of the Gathering is the meeting of diverse groups in a spirit of love, recognition and unity. A similar vision lives at the core of most centers, transforming the lives of the many thousands who attend their programs. In the spirit of collaboration we explore how we can support each other to fulfil each centers purpose and potential, in both practical and inspirational ways.
Recent Hosts of the Gathering include:
- The House of I, China
- The Haven, Canada
- Esalen Institute, USA
- Findhorn Foundation, Scotland
- Harbin Hot Springs, USA

Christine Lines February 28, 2016An inspiring time of friendship and learning
After hearing about the Gathering in 2010, I've attended each one ever since and love the opportunity to meet my peers, visit their centers and learn so much from each other. Great friendships have developed over the years and a strong and supportive network between us that is invaluable. As well as a learning opportunity to find out more about trends, best practices, marketing skills etc., it's a deeply nourishing time too, knowing that we're all involved in a similar vocation and face some of the same joys and challenges. We all become ambassadors for each others centers through personal experience, just one of the great gifts of the Gathering!
Rachel Davey January 01, 2016Go to the Centers' Gathering!
If you are involved in running a centre of any kind, size or location, the Centers' Gathering is invaluable! I have attended the last 4 gatherings at Findhorn, Esalen, The Haven and in China. At each Gathering I have met new people and, most importantly, learned many new things that I have taken back to my centre and put into action. It's also a wonderful opportunity to actually experience another centre by staying there and being part of the community. If you are a believer or supporter of abundance theory - that what is good for one of us is good for all of us - then I urge you to come to the Gathering to experience theory in action.
