KSSOY was founded by kashmiri yogacharyas to-transmit, preserve and practice the tradition of yogic sciences, philosophy and meditation from Kashmir Shaivism
The courses are taught by experienced Indian and international yoga teachers who are firmly rooted in tradition yet contemporary in their vision and communication, graduated professionals in the field of humanities including Anthropology, Yogic Sciences and Oriental Studies, In KSSOY the Asanas are being taught by certified Iyengar Yoga teachers who specialise in detailed alignment in each and every asana and in therapeutic elements
Kashmir Shaivism School Of Yoga conducts a variety of yoga programs including lectures on aspects of Indian culture, therapeutic benefits of yoga, yoga for women, kids yoga, Kashmir Shaivism meditation, dynamic and alignment asana practice. KSSOY is a 200, 300 Hours Registered Yoga School (RYS) and RPYS Registered Prenatal Yoga School with Yoga Alliance which designates this teacher training program as one which follows Yoga Alliance’s standards. Students who complete an approved training with this school may be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs).
The school has conducted trainings in South Africa, Arabic Gulf, Mexico , Armenia, Singapore. France, India where they have trained yoga teachers from around the world including Greece, Spain, Australia, Russia, Germany, France, Peru, Poland, Canada, United States, Colombia, Belgium, Holland, Sweden, Switzerland and Mexico, among many other countries. Graduates of the school in different parts of the world have established their centers, schools, and working professionally to enhance general wellbeing
