About us

The Mindfulness Project is located in a rural village outside of Khon Kaen Thailand. During the open seasons it hosts 20-30 volunteers to participate in local community outreach, natural building, and permaculture. They also experience in depth meditation and mindfulness training as well as daily yoga. In the closed season the project hosts retreats and courses including the annual Vipassana Meditation Retreat and the Heart to Heart Yoga Meditation Retreat. It is connected to the Wat Pho Monastery in Khon Kaen ran by Dr. Ajahn Somchai.

Vipassana Meditation Retreat

"Nothing to be, nothing to do, nothing to become." The annual 10 day Vipassana Meditation retreat is happening on December 28, 2017 to January 7, 2018, in Wat Pho Baan Neonate, Khon Kaen, Thailand. Come back to the roots of Buddhist tradition and experience the power of meditation. The Vipassana Meditation is an easy technique to learn that fits beginners and advanced meditators and it can lead to a deep level of self-understanding, self-love and complete liberation.
