Amara Retreat Venue

About us

Amara Retreat endeavours to facilitate knowledge for a sustainable future by inspiring human beings to re-ignite their love for life and nature.  It's a place where you can escape all those unattainable aspirations and be yourself, learn about what is enough for you and feel that the miracle of nature can sometimes be enough for the moment.

Located in the beautiful Noosa Hinterland. Our Retreat Centre is a 45-acre stunning property with stunning 180-degree views all the way to Noosa and the coast.

Amara is a completely private retreat facility and is available for corporate and health retreats. We host retreats for corporations and practitioners from all over the globe. Guests can choose to attend one of our pre-arranged retreats, can book the entire venue for either a private retreat or one that is open to the public.

We are able to provide you with packages or assist in a self-catered retreat by partnering you up with some of the best practitioners the coast has to offer; ranging from Massage to Motivational Speakers, to Feldenkreis and breath awareness workshops.

All of our recommended practitioners we have vetted for insurance as well as their awesomeness :) These practitioners are available for your guests for add-on massages or treatments. You are also able to deal with them directly.

The retreat features a Main House (accommodates 12 guests/twin share) and two Rustic Boutique Cabins (accommodate 2 guest each/twin share) for a total of up to 16 guests. We also offer a separate yoga/seminar centre available by request.

Please note, we don’t host weddings or parties.

I am the guardian of this land and I am here to serve this planet and its inhabitants. I do this with the best of my ability and with total integrity. Amara Retreat is a serene bubble in a world full of unattainable aspirations which are so out of proportion with the idea of "what is enough". Sandra Ramacher

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Mind training for post-retreat life! Renate

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
