Mahi Yoga School Dharamshala

About us

Here at Mahi Yoga Teacher Training school we focus highly on teaching the alignment approach using precise instruction informed by anatomical knowledge, hands on adjustment and ancient wisdom to help our students find and create a balance in themselves and their future students. The Mahi Yoga Teacher Training school syllabus focuses practically on how to work with props and modification for all bodies, ailments and abilities.

We believe that through the practice of traditional yoga and meditation each individual can lead a more blissful and balanced life.

Therefore on our yoga teacher training courses we aim to impart ancient Vedic wisdom and how to apply it practically through physical yoga (asana), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation. We hope that in the creation of outstanding yogis and yoga teachers we will pass on the precious knowledge of yoga to the people who need it.

We have an incredible team of teachers at Mahi Yoga Teacher Training school, who are a combination of Indian Yogis and international teachers. This combination enables us to provide a balance between traditional yoga and mysticism and modern practical teaching techniques. We focus highly on practical aspects of teaching and aim for our students to be ready to teach from the moment of graduation.

I had a great experience at Mahi Yoga in Goa this January 2018. Everyone was so helpful and supportive. Akilesh, Mahi, Akshay, Devrat and Amy are the real professionals in what they teach, each one has different approach, different style and each has something valuable to teach and share. I do recommend this course both for future teachers and for practicioners who seek for motivation, inspiration, guidance and challenges in order to become a better version of yourself
