About us

Wa Ale Island Resort is a privately owned eco-tourism project on the island of Wa Ale in the Lampi Marine National Park. Our intention is to invite guests to experience the natural beauty of the Myeik Archipelago in a luxury camp that encourages responsible and sustainable care for the environment.

We are honroed to offer yoga, fitness, scuba diving and many other daily activities to entertain guests and give them an experience that sure to be a once in a lifetime memory in a destination only few will explore.

Venue Highlights

Wa Ale island is an untouched, gem of an island located in the Myeik Archipelago. Our resort is a unique, one of a kind retreat center with luxury tented villas and treehouses overlooking the beautiful Andaman Sea. There are a variety of activities to do on the island including, Paddleboarding thru our natural mangrove river and forest, bird watching, scuba diving, massage, yoga, fitness and wellness health talks.

Directions

1. From Phuket, Thailand

Take a 3.5 hour car ride to Ranong, Thailand followed by a 15 minute long tail boat ride across the border to Kawthaung, Myanmar. From the Kawthaung Jetty, embark on a 2 to 3 hour luxury speed boat ride to the island

2. From Bangkok, Thailand

Take a 1 hour and 20 minute flight to Ranong, Thailand followed by a 15 minute long tail boat ride across the border to Kawthaung, Myanmar. From the Kawthaung Jetty, embark on a 2 to 3 hour luxury speed boat ride to the island

3. From Yangon, Myanmar

Take a 1.5 hour flight to Kawthaung, Myanmar. From the Kawthaung Jetty, take a 2 to 3 hour luxury speed boat ride to the island
