Costelloe Lodge a Titanic Retreat
Costelloe Lodge is an eight-bedroom Edwardian country house, designed by the architect Sir Edwin Lutyens for Bruce Ismay, chairman of the white star the owner of the Titanic. Bruce Ismay resided here from 1912 – 1937. The lodge is situated in Connemara, along the Wild Atlantic way with spectacular sea, river and mountain views overlooking the twelve pins. The gardens designed by the renowned Edwardian gardener Gertrude Jekyll overlook the Casla river adding to the tranquillity and atmosphere of this very special place
