      Best decision of my life!

I had a fantastic experience during my 200 hours YTT in Pokhara, Nepal at Salamba Yoga. Our class was relatively small, so we had personal interaction with all teachers, personalised adjustments, got to conduct three classes ourselves as well as continuous teaching practice from day one. It helped me build self confidence and deepen my passion for yoga. I cannot recommend this school enough! The teachers are so extremely knowledgeable and supportive no matter your level. The curriculum is perfect and very hands on, such as daily Shatkarma, Alignment, Anatomy classes and using probs from Iyengar approach which will take your practice and yoga knowledge to a whole different level. The hotel facility located 10 min walk from Pokhara lake/shopping/restaurants was great with good private rooms, gorgeous garden, homemade food and best of all, a newly refurbished yoga studio with big windows to the garden, ample fresh air - and view of the Himalaya mountains! I am extremely happy with my experience, would highly recommend and look forward to doing my next training with Salamba Yoga.

Just as the ocean depths are calm and clear, the true nature of our minds is enlightened and peaceful.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

I am an oncology nurse and a few long time patients have died recently. I need to rejuvenate and return to my breath! Elizabeth
