Ringing Cedars River Sanctuary

About This Center

Ringing Cedars Retreat has been a long time in the making! Years, a lifetime, maybe longer.

Since we met 4 years ago (Matt Siemens and Caroline Stewart), we've been seeking a way to bring together our desire for connection with the earth and our wish to be of service in a bigger way. Travelling through BC and AB to find the perfect location to plant our feet and grow our dreams.

“We knew we needed to get back to the land. To remember the ways of the natural world and live the principles of harmony and sustainability that mean so much to us.”

We stopped our search and chose to let go of the outcome and almost immediately, a friend reached out to tell us that we HAD to come and see this land and meet the beautiful soul who had been stewarding this land for 20 years. The moment we stepped onto the land, we knew. It was a homecoming. A deep knowing that this space holds our vision and our hearts.

From that moment on, we knew that this would be the space we would create the Ringing Cedars Retreat community. And so, this is exactly what we've been doing!

Beginning in March of 2019, we have started running our first retreats and come this Summer, we will be ready to host larger groups and offer even more magic.

I went to a silent retreat at Ringing Cedars River Sanctuary Retreat yesterday and I just have to leave a review. What a truly amazing, spiritual and rewarding experience this was. - Hayley
