About This Center

Our goal with ESC is to offer a space for interesting teachers, artists, seekers and explorers in all kinds of fields to share their gifts, knowledge and insights in the form of seminars and events.

We believe that all the different paths of personal growth lead up the same mountain. In other words, we look for the power of the message and are not concerned about the modality of the teachings.

We also feel called to help us re-find community. This is especially important in a large city like Los Angeles, where so many of us feel lonely and disconnected. An aspect of our goal is to build a community of humans that are interested in this journey of self exploration.

For indoor seminars we can accommodate up to around 20 people. However, in summer time we can hold events in our beautiful garden where we could easily accommodate around 40 – 60 people.

Venue Highlights

ESC is nested in a quiet area of Los Angeles. We are walking distance from Kenneth Hahn park, 15 minutes from the LAX Airport and 30 minutes from the beach.

Accommodations

Since we do not have overnight sleeping accommodation for students, we are best suited for day seminars. However, we can accommodate out of town teachers at our lovely studio loft.

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
