About This Center

We are an authentic Shipibo healing center that has provided ayahuasca ceremonies and medicinal plant healing over the past seven years. We specialize in ayahuasca ceremonies, Amazonian medicinal plant dietas, and additional complementing Shipibo healing methods.

We are located south of the city of Iquitos, outside the town of Nauta, in Peru.

It is a two and a half hour journey from the city of Iquitos which finishes with a half-hour walk through the surrounding Amazon Rainforest.

Out of suffering have emerged the strongest Souls; the most massive characters among us are seared with scars - Khalil Gibran

Venue Highlights

Most Ayahuasca Retreat Centers in Peru are owned by foreigners and the shamans that work for them receive very little of the total payment. Inca Shipiba is unique; we are owned and operated by our Shipibo Master Shaman with profits going back into our Center; the indigenous Shipibo community; and the wider local community. Our Center has been designed and created to support you in every way possible on your individual healing journey with us. It is peaceful, calm and fully self-sufficient; we have everything that you require within our premises. When you arrive you can completely focus on yourself and your healing process.

Our Center offers:
A beautiful Maloka (ceremony house) for ayahuasca ceremonies
Private single-person accommodations with single beds and hammocks
A stream for you to wash and bathe in
Toilets developed for western requirements
Solar power to charge any electrical devices

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Reconnecting with basic goodness in an environment of people who share a vision for a better society. Wimberly

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
