About This Center

Our mission is to deliver transformational programs for men & boys using rites of passage, arts, nature & culture. We are committed to building a community of resilient men living compassionate lives wholeheartedly in touch with their creativity and purpose.  We are part of the paradigm shifting work of the Great Turning, revisioning men to live with courage and reclaim their creative power to bring more balance to a world out of balance.  We use a combination of village building, council, stories, embodiment practice, ceremony, play and active mythic imagination to celebrate our part in the more beautiful worlds our hearts know is possible.

Big Mountain Medicine. We transform the fires of adolescence into warmth, purpose and direction and help boys discover their gifts. We help men align with their purpose, unclench from fear and reclaim wholehearted power to create a better world.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

To be more present and engaged in the world, to be of benefit to others. Vincent

Retreat Guru's Vision
